About Us
Our name, Tree of Life, reminds us of the Garden of Eden, of what was lost, and of what will be regained in eternity. The name also serves to remind us of what Christ has won for us on the tree of the cross and motivates us to share the promise of the Gospel with others so that they, too, may join in eating from the Tree of Life in heaven. (see Genesis 2:9 and Revelation 2:7, 22:2)
Tree of Life is a small to mid-size family church. We are the type of church where people have relationships with one another and "know your name". If you want to be involved, whether in studies or fellowship opportunities, there is a place here for you. We enjoy growing and learning together and find our church family to be one that worships together, studies together, plays together and supports one another. Your spiritual growth is also important to us and we welcome you to become a part of our family.
Our church is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). As Lutheran Christians, we are fully committed to the threefold foundation of the Reformation:
- Grace alone
- Faith alone
- Scripture alone
This means that we believe and teach that salvation is ours only by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, as taught in the Word of God, the Bible. Our whole purpose is to bring this knowledge of the Savior to those in need of it.
Ever wonder what it means to be Lutheran? What makes our life and faith experience different from other religions? Read what our members have to say about their idea of the Lutheran Experience.
